Hero Motocorp To Collaborate With Zero Motorcycles To Make Electric Motorcycles

Hero MotoCorp has announced that it is collaborating with USA-based Zero Motorcycles to develop premium electric motorcycles.

Under the new agreement, Zero Motorcycles will develop electric powertrains and will leverage the scale of manufacturing, sourcing and marketing of Hero MotoCorp. Back in September last year, Hero MotoCorp announced an investment of USD 60 million in Zero Motorcycles to accelerate the transition of electric mobility in India and abroad.

Zero Motorcycles currently offers a wide variety of electric bikes including the Zero S, SR/F, SR/S and SR street bikes, FXS supermoto, DS and DSR dual-sport bikes, DSR/X adventure bike and a motocross bike called the FX.
